Hello to everyone. All is well over here for me and Phil is hanging in there being Mr. Mom. He has finally admitted that he understands why I was the way that I was when he was deployed and that I am better suited for the whole parent at home thing.
I do miss them all so very much. For a bit I was calling nightly to talk to the kids but I stopped that to twice a week because it messed up their schedules and upset them a bit. I sent each of them their own letter and each had their own reaction to it. Alyssa cried a little bit. Timmy jsut snuggled to Dad and said he loved me. Becca laughed at it. Boyd kinda looked at Phil like, cool, where's my food?
They are doing well though. Timmy got into a pre-school with the Suffolk Schools. I am excited because one, it will get him ready for kindergarten and two it will stabilize him because he seems to be affected the most with me being gone.
I don't do too much here. I go to work and do that stuff all day, work out some nights, play with my WII, and now that school has started back up I deal with that. Other than that, ya'll know me, I am a bit of a home body. I have a tiny fridge in my room and a microwave. I made spaghetti in my microwave last night to get away from the frozen food a bit. I try to eat healthy. Eat a lot of yogurt and fruit and salads because it is so hot here, don't like to eat too heavy until the sun is down, even then I am hot though.
Phil is doing well, working, taking care of house, kids, and bills. He is worn out, but it'll all work out in the end for him. Takes time of course.
Other than that, not too much going on here. Same stuff different day. Awaiting E7 results and see if I can pick that up.
Stay safe to all and we send our love.
Once my hubby sends me some pics, I will get some on here i promise.

I'm Here
Okay, so I got here about a week ago or so. But I am here and it is hot hot hot. All is okay, I call and talk to the kids frequently and talk to Phil too. (Sometimes I call after the kids are in bed so I can have a quiet conversation with him).
All is well and I am getting by. NOthing really to report, get to see big ol iguanas who are rather creepy looking and little quick lizards that haul butt as soon as they see someone. The iguanas however do not, they rather feel like theyu own the land, which they probably do. If they leave me alone, I will do the same.
More later.

Early March
Good evening to all. I wanted to give updates and say hi. No, I still don't have pictures up, I am a little slow at that. Sorry.
First off, the kids are well. We are interviewing Nanny's for a few of them due to letting go our old one which is a long and complicated story that I choose not to go into. But believe me in this, it is for the best. We have one more interview tomorrow and then we will decide who we hire. Phil has been on leave to interview them.
My transfer orders came in and I will be departing a bit sooner than planned. I will be departing in July for a year, but the place is not as bad as we were afraid of. Though it would not be the best thing to tell you on a blog where I am going, but if you are dying to know, you can call us.
But, the job is a good one and it can help me make E7 if I do it right. And, it put same home before Phil has to go to sea duty which was my number one concern really for the kids sake.
I did not get SOY but that is okay, I was still nominated, so that is a good thing. We should have results soon however on if either of us made board for E7. Rumor has it, they will be released on the 10th, we shall see.
Phil, he is doing well for a man who has learned he will be Mr. Mom for a year. But, he is tougher than he thinks. I did it for a year and gave birth, naturally as I remind him, (lol), than he can do it. He is still in college against what he would prefer, still procrastinating it to no means, but he is hanging in there.
Alyssa is doing well in school, her report card was great. I have been volunteering at her school every Tuesday for the past few weeks, she loves that. Only a few more weeks left of that though.
Timmy is in full swing with his pre-school and he really likes it.
Becca is doing good as well, we are working on potty training and she is on a waiting list for pre-school, probably get in around June.
Boyd is doing well and eating a lot. On cereal, fruits, and veggies, as well as juice with his formula. Loving life, has a great and loud personality and talks constantly. But he loves his naps, takes long ones.
We have a few new additions to the family. We decided it was time to get another dog and ended up with two. I got a basset hound and we got the kids a lab/St Bernard mix. They are moving along slowly with the training but moving still. They do adore each other though which is good.
We also inherited a cat unexpectedly, but she is a good girl.
Other than that, I stay busy with the kids, school, work, and getting various letters ready for my officers package so it is ready before I deploy. I registered for the Graduate Record Exam which I have to take for this package. I also bought a book to study for it because it appears to be rather hard. That is in the beginning of April, if that goes as I hope, than the rest of my package will be easy compared to it.
Take care and stay safe to all, will update when new things happen.

Hello to all
Hello to everyone. Just saying hi, nothing new to report really. Had a busy weekend with the kids.
Alyssa is getting over her cold, Timmy is fighting a nasty cold, Becca had a cold and a tummy bug, and Boyd got a cold from the others. Talk about no sleep, a 4 month old with a cold, I need sleep so bad, as does Phil.
He had an appt today though for his 4 month shots; so I had the doctor look at him because at this point I was almost sure it had turned into an ear infection. It had, so he got some antibiotics.
He was 13.12 at his appt today and had his 4 months shots since the ear infection was so small and he has had no fevers at all. Good weight, I am content.
Since I had all the kids with me, boy was that fun; I had the doc look them over too, the rest are good, just a yukky bug.
Phil is in school this week for some sort of stuff for his job and he will be going to NC at the end of the week to shoot some sort of gun, who knows. Can't keep up.
We got a WII made by Nintendo and I am addicted. (Guess I can't yell at him for his XBOX anymore huh) My arms are killing me from playing it off and on all weekend. Hey, atleast it is exercise unlike him who sits on his butt with a remote in his hand, I am moving all over the place. I had wanted one for about a year and with rewards on an account, we were able to get one and actually find one too.
So, that was a nice surprise he came home with it. We hardly ever do anything for ourselves, so it was nice. Not that I mind, I love putting my kids first.
We should FINALLY be getting his bonus by the end of the week hopefully, and we can finally catch up on everything that the last 2 years of hell have put us behind on. Then we can get our financial lives back together. I can't wait. Been a long two years, we must love each other because we made it through it all without killing each other.
Other than that, jsut work, school, and kids.
I need to go wake Boyd, give him his meds and a bottle so he can go back to sleep.
More to fdollow and when I have time, probably this weekend, I will try to post pics I promise.
Ta Ta for now.

The Beginning....
Hello to everyone. So, I wanted a blog so that I could keep folks up to date and hopefully post some pictures eventually when I get the most recent ones uploaded from our laptop to this computer or I will have to log on using th elaptop to get up to date photos for all to see.
I am doing this for many reasons:
1. I am terrible at calling folks and always get the 3rd degree when I finally get around to it, I don't mean to not call, but things are so crazy with 4 youngins under the age of 6.
2. I am egven worse at getting those pictures in th email. I have got about 3 years worth of photos upstairs and I don't mena to forget to do this either but I guess life gets away from me.
3. I am deploying on an ECRC billit in October and want to be able to keep familiy up to date while I am gone because we all know how wonderful Phil is at communication. He he.
How things are?
We are well, little tid bits. Alyssa is doing well in Kindergarten, it is a lot more inofrmation than it was when we were kids. But, she tries so hard and is so eager to please us, as long as she is trying, I am happy with her.
Timmy, oh my Timmy. He is a trip. He has a ball with his cars and trains and torturing his 2 year old sister as much as she tortures him. He is also learning a letter, number, and color each day and doing well with it. I am going to put him in pre-school next year. Of course, in Virginia you have to pay for it, god forbid if they offer that in a school.
Becca, my dear. SHe is 100% Mommy. A huge tom boy and won't have it any other way. The toughest little girl that one can imagine and boy does she love her mommy. Daddy too, but def a Momma's girl. Alyssa used to be, but as she has gotten older, has gone towards Daddy. Timmy, he will aways be my baby.
Boyd, my darling unthought of final one. He is so wonderful. For those who don't know and most don't because during the time, we didn't really tell many people, he was in the NICU for a bit after born for high respirations. He is doing famously. Though it was the hardest week of my life, Phil and I supported each other like champs and if it had to happen with one of our kids, I am glad it was my 4th, because I may not have had anymore if it was sooner. He is a greedy, piggy little boy with chubby everything. He will be 4 months this week and I can't beleive it. I adore him as well as the rest. He has the most handsome smile and looks identical to his brother when he was a baby.
Phil; he is Phil. WOrking hard and going to school much to his dismay but I told him it was time. He likes to procrastinate that schooling, but hey, can't expect perfection right. He is doing well at work other than putting in way more hours than I like and he is awaiting to see if he made board for CPO or not. Let's cross our fingers for him, he deserves it.
Moi; well you know me. I graduate with my B.S. in October and than I am on break while deployed. It has been a long 3 years of school to get here but hopefully it will pay off. I am putting in a package to be commissioned to an officer and be sent to the University of MD for a PhD Clinical Psychiatry program. If I get accepted, we will probably be separated for a while but, I will come home as often asd I can on weekends until he can come there for shore duty. It is a chance we need to take though to get it done now while the kids are younger than later when they will be much older. It is a rigorous program with a Masters, PhD, and an intership that can be done in MD or CA. So let's cross our fingers. I am also awaiting to see if I made board for CPO. I also have a board on 05 Feb for Sailor of the Year. We shall see.
I am scheduling to have surgery soon as well to get my tubes tied. I know I know to all of you grandparents, but we have 4 kids. We adore our kids, but we both agree that we are good. 2 of each and about 2 more than first planned. So, seeing as I am as fertile as they come, we are both getting fixed so to speak and if I still get pregnant, than I suppose I was meant to have a 5th and still be happy. I mean what mom wouldn't be happy even if it was unplanned.
Bout it for now, I will try to post once a week unless something major happens. I stress try. Life does get away from me, sorry. Oh an thanks to a friend who has this, she gave me the idea to do it.
